Powering Tomorrow is founded by Ari and Jacob Bushler. Ari is currently a high school student at Saint Ignatius College Preparatory and Jacob is a recent St. Ignatius graduate entering Stanford University in the fall. Both are Kittredge School alumni! They enjoy spending their time traveling around the world and teaching students about green energy!
Powering Tomorrow partners with some of the nation's leading high schools to provide enthusiastic high-school volunteer educators to teach the Green Energy Challenge Workshop.

William Innes
Vice President of Curriculum
Will Innes is a senior at St. Ignatius and was one of the first Green Energy Challenge teachers. Channeling his interest in nuclear engineering and love for teaching, William has led many successful workshops and has become a leader in the St. Ignatius Chapter of Powering Tomorrow. In addition to his involvement with Powering Tomorrow, William is also on the St. Ignatius varsity soccer team and is involved with the school news team. In his free time, William enjoys fishing and exploring the outdoors.

Alexander Hughes
Vice President of Partner School Outreach
Alexander Hughes is a Senior at St. Ignatius and a passionate educator. He continues to teach Green Energy Challenge workshops across San Francisco while being a member of the St. Ignatius varsity soccer team. In addition, Alexander leads COPE, a club at St. Ignatius for opioid prevention and education.

Alton Tse
Regional Manager of Central San Francisco
A senior at St. Ignatius, Alton Tse is excited about renewable technologies and business. In addition to teaching Green Energy Challenge workshops, Alton is also a competitive tennis player and dedicated student.

Silvio Oberto
Vice President of Volunteer Recruitment and Training
Silvio Oberto, a senior at St. Ignatius, is passionate about helping the world and all those around him. A dedicated student, Silvio worked as as teachers's assistant for chemistry during summer break. Realizing that he loves teaching, Silvio joined Powering Tomorrow to combine his two passions - helping his community and teaching. In his free time, Silvio enjoys spending time with his family and friends and practicing martial arts.

Alexandra Innes
Regional Manager of East San Francisco
Alexandra Innes is a student athlete at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. As a dedicated member of a club rowing team, Alexandra understands the importance of teamwork and preparation and uses these skills to enhance Green Energy Challenge Workshops. She is passionate about helping her community through climate education and loves working with kids. In her free time, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Radhika Saha
Regional Manager of North San Francisco
Radhika signed up as a volunteer teacher because she loves spending time with kids and cares deeply about helping our world. In her free time, Radhika enjoys making arts and crafts and listening to music.

Sophie Barsoian
Regional Manager of South San Francisco
Sophie Barsoian, a rising senior at St. Ignatius, is passionate about teaching younger students about renewable energy. A dedicated student athlete, Sophie channels her keen interest in biology and living systems to teach students about the environmental effects of burning fossil fuels for energy. In her free time, Sophie enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Alex Goldberg
Assistant Regional Manager of South San Francisco
Alex Goldberg is a rising senior at St. Ignatius passionate about making the world a better place. With experience acting in school productions, teaching comes naturally to Alex and he likes to think of each workshop as a performance. In addition to acting, Alex enjoys playing soccer, doing water sports, and spending time with his family and friends.

Amanda Oberto
Educator
Amanda Oberto, a rising junior and avid hiker, is passionate about climate education as a way to protect the natural world she loves. She enjoys working with kids and leading workshops to inspire the next generation. Outside the classroom, Amanda plays on the St. Ignatius Varsity Softball Team and cherishes time with her family.
